Overview: In a mountain village in Transcarpathia lives the family of a carpenter Mykhaila Tsar. They are respected everywhere, and the head of the family is very proud of it. But the son Oleksa fell in love with the paramedic Nadya, although he has a wife and Nadya has a child. Father and brothers force Oleksa to leave his mistress. But when it became necessary to transport Nadia's sick daughter on a raft to the hospital to save her from death, it was as if a veil fell from their eyes. They recognized Oleksa and Nadia's right to love.
