Overview: Pampered Easterner Tom Ransom is sent West by his father, a meatpacking tycoon, to buy a large herd. Tom soon comes into conflict with the agents of Bennett, an unscrupulous rival, who tries to steal the herd from him. Tom eventually proves himself by outwitting Bennett.
