Overview: Oskar is having an affair with the artist Hermione. As a labor of love he decided to build a perfect replica dummy of her. In his basement studio he works himself into a trance in which the the line between reality and fantasy slowly blurs: Is it possible, that the dummy becomes more and more alive and Oskar confuses her with the real Hermione? When Hermiones husband suddenly visits Oskar in his basement-studio, Oskar finds himself flabbergasted: Both men look disturbingly alike.
