Snail

Snail

Release Date: 2001-01-01

Overview: The shots were taken during a four-hour performance in the forest ('Bio-striptease' by Katia Feltrin), where snails devour a dress of lettuce sewn directly on the skin. The plant tissue gradually disappears, leaving only a structure of threads. The film chews the rhythm of the performance to digest it into a condensed of tight images, crushed between the blur and the net, and which burst under the voracious eye of the gastropod.
