Overview: At 08:15 am (local time) on 6 August 1945, a bright flash set the sky over Hiroshima ablaze. A gigantic column of smoke rises above the city. The first nuclear bomb in history has just been dropped on the largest metropolis in western Japan. This new documentary shows this tragedy from the inside using photos taken that day by Yoshito Matsushige. Mr Matsushige appears in this documentary from an archived 1986 interview.
