Overview: One day, six-year-old Alyosha made friends with his uncle Vitya, an avid hunter, who promised to take the boy hunting in the fall. From then on, Alyosha waited for autumn to come and prepared seriously for the hunt. But Uncle Vitya forgot his promise. When hunting season arrived and Alyosha realized he had been deceived, he shared his disappointment with his parents—and his father did everything he could to make the hunt happen.
