Overview: The poor tailor of Ebberöd is visited by his American cousin, John Andrews. He brings a bag, and the local gossip has it that he has brought 20 million with him. The tailor, the miller and a rich widow decides to open a bank. The business is excellent - they lend out money at 4 percent interest rate but gives 8 percent on the savings accounts.
