Overview: Chellamma is a Brahmin woman that has decided to take her own life, as she believes that no one truly wants her in their life. With this in mind she goes to a railway station to commit suicide via train, but at the last moment she's saved by Razia Beevi, a social worker and Muslim. Caring little about caste systems or other things that would prove to be a barrier for others, Razia takes Chellamma into her own home and cares for her.
