Overview: In the winter of 1941, young cadets from the Red Banner School named after the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR stood on the Volokolamsk Highway, forty kilometers from the capital. The Nazis managed to break through the front line, and the company was surrounded, but the inexperienced soldiers rushed into battle with courage and bravery to defend the capital.
