Although I'd read some technical details about the cause of these crashes in the paper, I wasn't aware just how insanely unforgiving the MCAS software became for pilots that ran into its edge cases. Although I'd read some technical details about the cause of these crashes in the paper, I wasn't aware just how insanely unforgiving the MCAS software became for pilots that ran into its edge cases. Having just 10 seconds to respond before essentially guaranteed crash is crazy. Overall I thought this doc did a decent job storytelling; would recommend to those interested in engineering or technology.
