Our story follows four people left behind as they try to stay alive as the deadly robots descend, the US Air Force tries to annihilate the deadly interplanetary foe and they encounter a cowardly murderer who tries to use them as bait whilst he tries to escape. Richard Denning and Kathleen Crowley do their jobs well enough; and the story is actually quite interesting. The robots themselves, however, have all the menace of a tin wheelie bin. It is a bit too wordy, but has higher production standards than many of these sci-fi B movies, and it plays up well to the post WWII nervousness that existed in the USA at the time. Give it a go.
